The challenge makes Night 3 to 5 hard because of getting Monster Cat. Laser Pointer makes the flashlight way too small to just be shined at an enemy so it must be more precise at hitting targets. They are unlocked in the Extras menu after the completion of Night 6 and can be used on any Night and the Shadow Challenge.
